Connect & Enable Trading

Two steps stand between you and your first HYPE: connect a wallet, then enable trading. Both take under a minute.

1. Connect your wallet

Click Connect Wallet in the top-right corner and pick your weapon — MetaMask, Rabby, WalletConnect, and every major EVM wallet are supported.

Connecting is read-only and free: no transaction, no signature fee. You can browse every market, chatroom, and leaderboard before committing anything.

2. Enable trading

Before your first trade, you’ll be asked to Enable Trading — a one-time guided checklist of up to four steps:

1. Legal Check — acknowledge TOFU’s Terms of Service.
2. Account Activation — activate your Perps and Spot accounts.
3. Approve TOFU Platform — sign once to authorize TOFU as your builder.
4. Enable Trading Session — create a gas-free session key for instant, low-latency trading.

• Every step is a signature, not a transaction — no gas cost.
• The session key means you don’t have to sign every single order in your wallet. Trading stays one-click fast.
• Your funds always remain under your control.

3. Sign in to TOFU (social layer)

To chat, send danmaku, and earn XP, the platform signs you in with your wallet (a standard SIWE signature). This links your trading identity to your social identity — your level badge, avatar frame, and collection follow you everywhere.
